Contest

The Volunteering, not just for grannies! contest is there to recognize young Gaspesians and Magdalen Islanders’ community involvement – big or small! The contest is open to residents between the ages of 12 to 17. Organizations can also submit the names of young volunteers.

A jury will choose six winners (one per RCM) who will each receive a $500 prize.

Selection criteria:

Be an individual or a group of young persons, ages 12 to 17 Reside in the Gaspé or the Magdalen Islands regions Ensure that the involvement being rewarded are not part of paid work or credited course
